Fender Benders and Back PainRecently, a patient came in and reported that, for some reason, he "just wasn't feeling right". We discussed his life over the last couple of weeks and figured out, to me, the obvious reason for his back pain flaring up.It seems this fellow was in a minor "fender bender" a couple weeks previous. He said it really wasn't much of an accident and there was very little damage to the car. He took his car in "just in case" and the only repair necessary was to have the wheels realigned. He added that he felt no physical discomfort at all right after the accident so he figured he was "OK".Doctor it only hurts when I Do ThisThe comical response is, "So don't do that!!!" If what makes "it" hurt is standing, sitting, or especially, breathing, we are in trouble. For back pain sufferers, all these things and many others are painful. Back pain sufferers are forced to change their lives when they are "down in the back". Favorite activities become memories and busy people can be stopped dead in their tracks by back pain. That Guy....Arthur Itis He's such A Pain!!THAT ARTHUR ITIS! What A Pain! I'd end my relationship with him in a snap of my fingers, If I could only get my poor fingers to work!Recently, I heard someone say, "I used to not believe in chiropractic, but I do now." What really made me smile was the notion that chiropractic was something you could believe or disbelieve.WHY AM I SO TIREDAfter a full day of physical work it is natural that we are comfortably tired. After a full night's rest, we awake ready to face a new day with vim, vigor and vitality. But what would cause us to feel like we are running out of gas at three or four o'clock in the afternoon. Or worse yet, wake up almost as tired as when we went to bed?
